About Hannah Seco
I am a musician, composer, and producer with a deep passion for crafting immersive soundscapes. My journey began with classical composition studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where I developed a strong foundation in structure, harmony, and expression. From there, I built my own analog recording studio—a creative space where I push sonic boundaries and explore unique production techniques.
I am deeply inspired by pioneers like Joe Meek, Karlheinz Stockhausen, and Phil Spector, and I share their fascination with sculpting sound in unconventional ways. I experiment with analog gear, daisy-chaining effects, and inventing new production methods to create otherworldly textures. This hands-on approach allows me to shape music organically, letting each piece evolve naturally while maintaining its raw character.
As a classically trained pianist with a love for jazz and improvisation, my compositions often fuse intricate harmonies with spontaneous energy. I strive to create dynamic musical narratives—letting pieces build, shift, and explode into climactic moments, where instruments converse and intertwine. While I embrace rich, layered arrangements, I also have a deep appreciation for minimalism and am eager to explore it further in my work.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to integrate Moogs and modular synths into my compositions, expanding my sonic palette even further. Whether composing, producing, or performing, my goal is always to craft music that feels alive—full of depth, emotion, and raw authenticity.
